Bordeaux Right Bank Wine

Bordeaux's Right Bank stretches east of the Dordogne, centred on Saint-Émilion and Pomerol alongside satellite appellations such as Fronsac and the Côtes de Bordeaux. Its clay and limestone soils favour Merlot, and Saint-Émilion has been governed by its own classification since 1955, revisited roughly every decade.
