Philipponnat at James Suckling Great Wines of the World
Join us at James Suckling's Great Wines of the World, one of the most anticipated wine events of the year in Hong Kong, bringing together 150 producers and more than 270 wines from 40 regions under one roof.
Find us at the Philipponnat booth to taste the latest release of Clos des Goisses 2016, one of Champagne's most celebrated single-vineyard wines. The Clos des Goisses is a walled vineyard of around five and a half hectares in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, set on a steep, south-facing slope above the Marne. Philipponnat has bottled it as a single-vineyard Champagne since 1935, and each release is eagerly awaited by collectors.

Thirsty Thursday with Domäne Roland Chan
Kick off the evening with Roland Müksch, founder of Domäne Roland Chan, for a relaxed after-work tasting at our Hong Kong office.
In 2017, Roland and his wife Sharon Chan realised a long-held dream: their own vineyards in the Wachau, the UNESCO-listed stretch of the Danube that is home to some of the world's finest Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. From steep terraced plots in Höll, Bach, Achleiten and Klaus, they make only around 9,000 bottles a year. The wines are aged on fine lees, bottled unfiltered, and held for two years before release.
Roland lives in Hong Kong, so this is a rare chance to hear the story first-hand. It's also a first look at Austria, a new country arriving in our portfolio very soon.
An easy evening of good conversation and pure, mineral whites in the glass.
