Santenay

Granted AOC status on 8 December 1936, Santenay sits at the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune, its vineyards of grey and white oolitic limestone spread across some 330 hectares in the communes of Santenay and Remigny. The appellation has no Grand Cru vineyards, but its twelve Premier Cru climats and predominantly Pinot Noir plantings have earned it a reputation for sturdy, well-priced reds that rank among the best value in the Côte de Beaune. Among the great wines of Santenay, you will find in particular Domaine Francois d'Allaines Santenay 'Tete de Cuvee' Red 2020 and more at The Vintage Wine Club Hong Kong.
