Domaine Regis Jouan

Domaine Régis Jouan, located in the village of Sury-en-Vaux in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, is renowned for producing classic Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc of purity and finesse. Founded by Régis Jouan and today run by his family, the domaine cultivates around 4.5 hectares of vines rooted in limestone-rich soils that give Sancerre its hallmark mineral edge.

In 2017, the estate entered a new chapter when it was taken over by the family’s son-in-law, David Girard, who continues to uphold its traditions while refining the style. The wines are marked by crisp acidity, expressive citrus and white fruit aromatics, and a precise mineral backbone that has made Sancerre one of the world’s most sought-after white wines.
