Domaine Alain Voge

The Voge family has farmed in Cornas since 1905, when Alain Voge's grandfather first acquired land there, but it was Alain himself who transformed the estate from bulk producer to estate-bottler after taking over in 1960 at the age of 21. A vocal defender of Cornas against urban encroachment in the 1970s, he later planted vines at unusually high elevation to preserve freshness and converted the estate to certified organic farming.
