Chateau Simone

Established in 1948, the Palette appellation east of Aix-en-Provence covers just 43 hectares, making it one of the smallest and most singular wine regions in France. Château Simone, in the Rougier family since 1830, holds roughly half of this tiny appellation and has defined its reputation for nearly two centuries, aging its wines in cellars first carved by monks in the 16th century.
