Fixin

Granted village AOC status in 1936, Fixin is one of the smallest and most northerly communal appellations of the Côte de Nuits, its roughly 132 hectares of vines spread across the communes of Fixin and Brochon at the gateway to Burgundy's grand cru heartland. It holds no Grand Cru, but some 21 hectares are classified Premier Cru across six climats — including Clos de la Perrière and Clos du Chapitre — yielding firm, structured Pinot Noir that has long been considered under-appreciated next to its famous Côte de Nuits neighbours. Among the great wines of Fixin, you will find in particular Chateau de Marsannay Fixin 'Petits Crais' Red 2021 and Chateau de Marsannay Fixin Red 2020 and more at The Vintage Wine Club Hong Kong.
