Domaine Frederic Mabileau

Family archives trace the Mabileaus' winemaking in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil to the late 19th century, but it was Frédéric and his wife Nathalie who founded the independent estate in 1991, starting with three rented hectares and growing to 35 today across four Loire appellations. The oldest vines, planted in 1947 by Frédéric's grandfather, still bear fruit, and the domaine has been certified organic since 2007 and biodynamic since 2018.
