Domaine Leon Barral

Named for his grandfather, Domaine Léon Barral was founded in 1993 by Didier Barral, the thirteenth generation of his family to grow grapes in the hamlet of Lenthéric, in Faugères. The 30-hectare estate has been farmed biodynamically since its founding, certified from 1995, with a team of some twenty draft animals replacing tractors and vines as old as ninety years kept to naturally low yields.
