Alain Jaume - Domaine du Grand Veneur

The Jaume family first planted vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1826, and five generations later, in 1979, Alain and Odile Jaume took over Domaine du Grand Veneur. The estate farms roughly 16 hectares of old vines within the appellation and, in 1986, was among the first in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to age wines in new French oak barrels.
