Chassagne-Montrachet
Renamed Chassagne-Montrachet in 1879 in honour of its most famous vineyard and granted AOC status in 1937, this Côte de Beaune village appellation covers around 340 hectares of limestone-and-marl slopes between Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. Its 55 Premier Cru climats and shares of the Grand Cru vineyards of Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet have made it a byword for Burgundy's finest Chardonnay, alongside a growing production of Pinot Noir reds. Among the great wines of Chassagne-Montrachet, you will find in particular Domaine Vincent Bouzereau Chassagne-Montrachet White 2023 and more at The Vintage Wine Club Hong Kong.
