Aloxe-Corton

Granted AOC status in 1938, Aloxe-Corton is a Côte de Beaune village appellation spanning the communes of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny, its roughly 118 hectares of village and Premier Cru vines wrapped around the slopes of the Corton hill. The appellation counts 13 Premier Cru climats and lends its name to the surrounding Grand Cru vineyards of Corton and Corton-Charlemagne, making it one of the few Côte de Beaune villages to sit beneath both a red and a white Grand Cru.
