Domaine de Trevallon

Domaine de Trévallon was founded by the artist couple Jacqueline de la Baume and René Dürrbach, who acquired the estate in the Alpilles in 1960; it was their son Éloi who planted the first vines in 1973 and, defying regional convention, blended Cabernet Sauvignon with Syrah in equal parts to create the domaine's singular style. Each vintage still carries a label drawn from René Dürrbach's artwork, and since Éloi's death in 2021 his daughter Ostiane has continued the estate's work.
