Domaine Philippe Alliet

The Alliet family has worked the limestone slopes of Chinon for generations, their name traceable to the 17th-century Aillette family of the same parish, and today Philippe Alliet runs the 12-hectare estate together with his son Pierre. Farming exclusively Cabernet Franc, including vines over sixty years old, with indigenous yeasts and low yields, the domaine is widely regarded as one of Chinon's finest addresses.
