Sebastien Carreau

Now in its seventh generation, the Carreau family has farmed the clay-limestone slopes of Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux for well over a century, with Sébastien Carreau today tending some 60 hectares alongside his father and cousin. After training as a sommelier in Paris and making wine in Spain and Argentina, he returned home to practise meticulous, low-yield viticulture, including slow fermentations and multiple daily punch-downs.
