Chateau Suduiraut

Taking its name in 1580 on the marriage of Nicole d'Allard to Léonard de Suduiraut, the estate's château was rebuilt in the late 17th century with formal gardens laid out by Louis XIV's own designer, and its vineyard today covers some 90 hectares within a 200-hectare property in the commune of Preignac. Classified a Premier Cru in the 1855 Classification and owned since 1992 by AXA Millésimes, Château Suduiraut sits immediately beside Château d'Yquem and draws its wines from a blend dominated by Sémillon.
