The Domain
Founded in 2009, Domaine Pierre-Jean Villa has quickly become one of the leading names of the Northern Rhône.
Before creating his own label, Pierre-Jean Villa was part of the Vins de Vienne project, the famous collaboration between some of the region's top growers. He brings that experience and vision to his own domaine, with vineyards across Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage.
His wines are now highly sought after by sommeliers and collectors who value finesse over power.
The Style
Working organically and with minimal intervention, Pierre-Jean Villa crafts Syrah and Viognier cuvées marked by purity, freshness and precise expression of terroir.
The reds are elegant and floral, with silky tannins and a peppery, mineral finish, while the Condrieu is aromatic but never heavy. Balanced and vibrant, the wines are delicious young and age remarkably well.
