Domaine Jeanne Germain

Founded by Jeanne Germain, a winemaker whose twin passions for wine and horses shaped her journey, this young domaine is redefining Saumur-Champigny with authenticity and soul. After twelve years dedicated to horsemanship, Jeanne turned to the vineyard in 2019, producing her first cuvée with the help of her Ardennais horses, Ben and Comtesse. With her partner Florent, she now cultivates 1.7 hectares of vines in the Loire Valley, working entirely with animal traction to preserve the vitality of the soils and maintain harmony with nature.

The wines of Domaine Jeanne Germain are pure expressions of Cabernet Franc, combining freshness, finesse, and a mineral-driven structure that captures the essence of Saumur-Champigny’s limestone terroir. Organic practices, traditional methods, and long élevage yield cuvées of elegance and energy that are quickly attracting attention from sommeliers and collectors alike.
