Vosne-Romanee

Granted AOC status in 1936, Vosne-Romanée is a small communal appellation of the Côte de Nuits, its roughly 156 hectares spread across the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Flagey-Échezeaux. It is home to eight Grand Cru vineyards, including Romanée-Conti, La Tâche and Richebourg, and is widely regarded as the pinnacle of Burgundy Pinot Noir, its village-level wines carrying much of the same silky, perfumed character.
