Chateau Pontet-Canet

Founded in the early 18th century by Jean-François de Pontet, Château Pontet-Canet was classified a Grand Cru in the historic 1855 ranking and has passed through three families across three centuries, most recently the Tesserons. The 81-hectare estate, some 800,000 vines farmed entirely biodynamically, is regarded as one of Pauillac's most meticulously worked fifth growths, its wines gaining added depth and precision since the estate's conversion.
