Chateau Les Carmes Haut-Brion

In 1584, Jean de Pontac donated part of his Haut-Brion estate to the Carmelite order, who gave the vineyard its name and tended it for over two centuries until the Revolution. After passing through the Colin and Chantecaille-Furt families, the estate was acquired in 2010 by Patrice Pichet, who has since elevated its tiny 4.7 hectares into one of Pessac-Léognan's most singular addresses, alongside its historic neighbour Château Haut-Brion.
