The 2023 Cellier des Dames Rully ‘Saint Jacques’ Blanc is a vibrant and expressive white Burgundy, offering both freshness and depth. The nose opens with a floral bouquet of white blossoms and fern, layered with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, lemon, grapefruit, and a subtle touch of passionfruit.
On the palate, it strikes a beautiful balance between liveliness and roundness, with flavors of peach, quince, and fresh pineapple. Hints of hazelnut and brioche from the lees aging add a delicate richness, while the finish is long and refreshing, marked by kiwi-like acidity and a slightly savory edge.
