Corton Grand Cru

Granted AOC status on 31 July 1937, Corton is the only Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune to produce both red and white wine, its amphitheatre of vines climbing a single hill shared by the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergelesses. Barely 95 hectares in total and fragmented into dozens of named climats such as Clos des Meix and Bressandes, it remains one of Burgundy's most complex and sought-after appellations.
