Condrieu Wine

Established as an AOC on 27 April 1940, Condrieu is one of the oldest recognised appellations of the Northern Rhône, its terraced granite slopes above the river dedicated entirely to Viognier. The vineyard nearly disappeared, shrinking to barely 8 hectares by the late 1970s, before a remarkable revival brought it back to roughly 200 hectares of steep, sun-drenched terraces today.
