Tasting notes
Delamotte Champagne Rosé offers a beautiful salmon-pink hue. The nose is expressive, with aromas of red berries, strawberries, raspberries, and a touch of rose petals. On the palate, it is elegant and lively, with flavors of red currants, cherries, and a hint of citrus. The mousse is fine and creamy, leading to a refreshing and balanced finish. This rosé Champagne pairs wonderfully with smoked salmon, charcuterie, and berry desserts.
More About The Winery
Founded in 1760 by François Delamotte, Champagne Delamotte is one of the oldest houses in Champagne, rooted in over 260 years of history and tradition. Nestled in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Delamotte crafts wines defined by purity, freshness, and finesse.
The estate’s Champagnes are shaped by the power and elegance of Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs Grand Cru vineyards, with subtle complexity added by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in selected blends. The motto of the house, “Vive et me Ama” (“Live and love me”), reflects its timeless spirit and family legacy.
Since 1997, Delamotte has been under the leadership of Didier Depond, who also manages the legendary House of Salon. Together, Delamotte and Salon stand as benchmarks of precision and terroir expression in Champagne.
Today, Champagne Delamotte is prized for its Brut, Blanc de Blancs, and Rosé cuvées, which embody balance, minerality, and Côte des Blancs elegance — wines that continue to grace the finest tables across the world.
