Tasting notes
The 2024 Le G de Château Guiraud is the dry white from the acclaimed Sauternes estate, blending Sauvignon Blanc with Sémillon, farmed organically. The nose is expressive and fresh, with ripe citrus, gooseberry, passion fruit and delicate white flowers. The palate is medium-bodied and aromatic, with a tangy, fruit-forward character balanced by a subtle waxy texture from the Sémillon and a clean mineral finish. A natural match for seafood, scallops or grilled fish.
More About The Winery
"Throughout its history, Chateau Guiraud has always maintained its INDEPENDANCE and traced its own route. The prevailing PIONNEER spirit led the property to create its own conservatory of grape varieties. In 1996, the team undertook a veritable cultural revolution by embarking on the study of BIODIVERSITY, and in 2011 Chateau Guiraud became the First Grand Cru Classé in 1855 to be awarded Organic Agriculture certification." Xavier Planty, Director and co-owner of Chateau Guiraud
