Tasting notes

Domaine Vincent Bouzereau’s 2023 Meursault Blanc opens with bright and expressive aromas of white peach, crisp apple, and citrus, complemented by subtle notes of toasted hazelnut, fresh butter, and a refined mineral edge. The palate is rich yet beautifully balanced, offering a harmonious interplay of ripe fruit, creamy texture, and lively freshness. Its structure is both generous and precise, leading into a long, gently toasty finish that lingers with classic Meursault charm. While immediately enjoyable for its purity and finesse, this cuvée also carries the potential to develop greater depth and complexity with a few years of cellaring.

More About The Winery

Based in the heart of Meursault, Vincent Bouzereau carries on a long family legacy in Burgundy while forging his own path. Nearly 30 years ago, Vincent established his domaine, patiently acquiring and restructuring vineyard plots across the Côte de Beaune, which today spans 18 hectares.

What makes the estate unique is its dedication to massal selection – a traditional technique passed down by Vincent’s father, Pierre. Instead of relying on clones, only the healthiest vines are chosen and propagated, preserving pre-phylloxera vine diversity and enhancing biodiversity, complexity, and authenticity in the wines.

The domaine produces a wide range of 21 wines (10 white and 11 red), from Bourgogne AOC up to Premier Cru and Grand Cru bottlings. While most vineyards are in Meursault, Bouzereau also cultivates parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, Monthélie, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, and Corton. Highlights include Meursault 1er Crus, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Volnay 1er Cru, and the Corton Grand Cru “Clos des Fietres.”
