Tasting Notes
A great expression of Mourvèdre from the limestone terraces of Bandol
This is a deep and intense red wine, displaying dark, almost black highlights in the glass. The nose is rich and evocative, offering layers of wild berries, blackcurrant, and sweet spices like cinnamon and licorice, interwoven with garrigue herbs that speak of the Provençal landscape.
On the palate, the attack is silky, fresh, and smooth, leading to a wine of remarkable structure and elegance. The Mourvèdre shines here, delivering depth, spice, and finesse in perfect balance. A superb Bandol with both ageing potential and immediate charm.
