Chateau Barbeyrolles

Acquired in 1977 by Régine Sumeire, Château Barbeyrolles is a 12-hectare estate in Gassin, above the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, where Sumeire pioneered 'Pétale de Rose' in 1985, one of the first pale rosés in Provence, pressed from whole Grenache grapes using a Champagne press. Continuing a family winemaking tradition in the region that traces back generations, the estate now works from a gravity-flow cellar built in 2004.
