Tasting Notes & Ratings

Grape

33% Minustellu, 33% Niellucciu, 33% Grenache

"O Bà! "is a new wine added to the estate's "Heritage Vintages" range. It bears this name, which means "daddy" in Corsican, in homage to my father, Pierre-Joseph Leccia, who passed on to me his passion for this profession.

Tasting notes

"O Bà!" possesses all the attributes of a vintage with excellent aging potential. The Niellucciu lends structure and backbone, the Minustellu contributes roundness and depth, while the Grenache brings vibrant fruit and aromatic lift. A beautifully balanced and expressive wine, crafted to evolve gracefully over the coming years in the cellar.

More About The Winery

Based in Patrimonio, the oldest appellation of Corsica, Yves Leccia is widely recognized as one of the island’s most influential winemakers. Coming from a family of vignerons and with decades of experience, Yves Leccia has dedicated his career to showcasing the authenticity of Corsican terroir, combining respect for tradition with innovative vision.

The domaine cultivates indigenous varieties such as Niellucciu, Vermentinu, Biancu Gentile, and Grenache, rooted in limestone and schist soils that give the wines their hallmark minerality, freshness, and elegance. Working with minimal intervention and sustainable practices, Yves Leccia produces wines of purity and precision, whether it be the structured reds of Patrimonio or the vibrant whites and rosés of the Île de Beauté.

Highly regarded by sommeliers and collectors worldwide, the wines of Yves Leccia capture the soul of Corsica — powerful yet refined, deeply expressive of their Mediterranean landscape.
