This month we're shining a spotlight on two of the South of France's most compelling wine regions: Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence. Long overshadowed by Bordeaux and Burgundy, both regions are now home to some of France's most exciting, terroir-driven growers — producing wines of real character at exceptional value.

In Languedoc-Roussillon, we work with growers such as Mas de Daumas Gassac, often called the "Lafite of the Languedoc" for its structured, age-worthy reds and whites from a unique geological pocket near Aniane; Domaine Léon Barral, a benchmark biodynamic estate in Faugères farming old-vine Carignan, Cinsault and Grenache with minimal intervention; and Domaine du Clos des Fées, whose old-vine Côtes du Roussillon reds, including 'La Petite Sibérie', are cult favourites among Rhône and Languedoc enthusiasts.

In Provence, our range spans Château Simone, the historic monopole at the heart of the tiny Palette appellation; Château La Tour de l'Évêque and Château des Demoiselles, both benchmark Côtes de Provence rosé producers; and Domaine de Trevallon, one of Provence's most collectible estates, celebrated for its Syrah-Cabernet blends from the Alpilles.
