Tasting notes
The 2018 Riesling Grand Cru ‘Pfingstberg’ from Domaine Valentin Zusslin is a dry, powerful expression of Alsace Riesling, crafted from biodynamically farmed vineyards. The nose is smoky and flinty, layered with aromas of ripe stone fruits, citrus zest, and a subtle herbal edge.
On the palate, the wine is expansive and richly textured, yet anchored by a saline mineral core that adds both structure and vibrancy. The finish is long, focused, and energetic, carrying through the wine's signature tension and purity.
A Riesling of remarkable concentration and elegance, with impressive aging potential and a clear expression of its Grand Cru terroir.
