Vintage 2020:Healthy and easy sanitary season for the vineyard. Not the same for the winemakers and vine growers that went through the sanitary measures of covid with a lot of availability…Furthermore, the main word of 2020 vintage was “early”: budburst, flowering, ripening and harvest… started on August 20th for the first Marsannes of Saint-Péray, and finished on September 15 on the atop plots of Cornas.Well-balanced juices in Saint-Péray, without too much alcohol, after very dynamic fermentations of our natural yeasts. In Cornas, a well-balances vintage too, fruity but with ripe tannins, spicy sometimes and full-bodied, full of promises…
Terroir: The vines, on average thirty years old, are planted on colluvium mixed with coarse sand comprised of granite and clay-limestone.
Tasting notes:One of the highest parcels under the hamlet of Blagny, a typical chalky note that is defined by chalky powder well present in the mouth, but persistent and powerful woody notes, so in the long run a wine with more fatness and acidity.
Story:"First vintage produced in 2001. With this blend of different plots, our aim is to express as accurately as possible the character of the Marsanne grape variety."

"Fresh, floral and easy-going. Well-balanced with a subtle mineral glint and tension, then a gentle, tapered finish.”
Domaine Voge is located in Cornas, in the Rhone Valley. It is one of the most renowned estate of the designation. Voge estate was created by Henri Voge (Alain's grandfather). Alain's father died prematurely, that's why in 1965 he took over after his grandfather and developed bottling for the estate's wines (that used to be directly sold to the trade). The Alain Voge estate owns many great vineyards that are mostly located on the hillsides, and that covers 13 Ha, all in all, including 7 Ha of Rhone red (100% Syrah) in Cornas, 1 Ha in St Joseph, and 5 Ha of 100% white Marsanne located in Saint Peray Protected Designation of Origin. The biodynamic conversion of the estate started in 2006. It was fully achieved in 2013. With many old vines plots, the Alain Voge estate gets quality grapes to create different cuvees, among the wide range that they produce. In the Saint Peray Protected Designation of Origin, the Harmony, Ongrie, and Fleur de Crussol cuvees are produced. Fleur de Crussol is the most successful one (made from 70-year old vines).
