"Who says simple can’t be fun? Sulfur-free, bone-dry, and expertly-made by one of Alsace's premier producers."
Tasting notes: This pale salmon, biodynamic Crémant, is refined, elegant and presents a complex bouquet of floral, red fruits and brioche aromas. Full-bodied on the plate, the Pinot Rosé is rich with finesse and intensity and a beautiful finish with light strawberry notes.

The newest edition of the 2018 Crémant d’Alsace Brut Rosé was disgorged in March this year. Dressed in a pale salmon color, this biodynamic Crémant opens with a clear and refined, very elegant and floral bouquet with a delicate red fruit and brioche aroma. Full-bodied on the palate, this is a pretty rich and charmingly round (if not seductively sweet) but fine and elegant Pinot Rosé with an intense yet pure, refined and very elegant finish with strawberry notes on the aftertaste. This is a serious, vinous and sustainable sparkling wine to have with food—poultry, for example, or why not also lobster? I'd try that! Tasted in May 2020.. Stephen Reinhardt

A pale rosé sparkling wine that’s so easy to enjoy, but also has plenty of subtlety. Loads of bright red-berry notes and hints of brioche and delicate fresh herbs. The palate is so clean and straight, the lively mousse accentuating the impression of sophisticated refreshment. Although bone-dry, the finish is clean rather than being even slightly sharp. No added sulfites! From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now.
Established in 1691 by M. Jodocus CISLE (former name of Zusslin), Domaine Valentin ZUSSLIN is now run by two generations of the Zusslin family who are following in the footsteps of their forbears. The winery is based in Orschwihr, south of Colmar, and the vines are planted on the slopes of the Bollenberg, Clos Liebenberg and Grand Cru Pfingstberg.
Since 1997, the estate has been run in its entirety according to the principles of Bio-Dynamic culture. The vines are mainly worked by hand and a significant amount of time is devoted to caring for the soil.
Awarded the Robert Parker Green emblem in July 2021.
