Prestige cuvée made from grapes from a plot of very old vines on Marnes Kimméridgiennes - chalk and a little clay. This plot is planted directly on top of a cliff. There are also many wild boars that like grapes and especially the roots of the vines if they can dig something up. The wine ages in 227 litre oak barrels for 12 months, then in steel tanks for 6 months. 2008 was a deciding year for their estate, a balance between their vision, their vinification and their style of wines, hence the name Eurythmie.
Tasting notes: The wine possesses a clean bouquet of lime, elderflower, lemongrass and ripe nectarine. The flavour is complex, concentrated and well focused. Notes of lemon peel, stone fruit, herbs, floral aromas fill the mouth, while a soft chalky, mineral texture brings it all together and completes the aftertaste, which is long, crisp and dry.

From Kimmeridgian marls and silex soils, the 2018 Pouilly Fumé Eurythmie was vinified in 500- and 228-liter barrels for 18 months and displays a golden-yellow color and an intense, slightly flinty nose. On the palate, this is a rich, intense, quite powerful yet also elegant, grippy and salty Pouilly with a certain salinity on the still slightly oaky, sweet and bitter finish. It is beautifully pure, fresh and aromatic on the finish. Tasted in February 2021. Stephen Reinhardt

Tight and perfumed, this wine offers good balance between the crisp texture and white-fruit flavors. The wine is still developing, the fruitiness coming through the steely texture. Drink this potentially rich wine from 2021. Organic and biodynamic.
