" A crisp rosé perfect for summer."
Tasting notes: The fruity and gourmet wine reveals red fruit and spicy notes. Bright and clear colour. As for the mouth, it is both strong and structured. Aromas of peach and melon come through on the nose and can be found on the palate. Lively and balanced with a beautiful touch of acid on the finish.
Fun, fresh, and food-friendly, enjoy it with hors d’oeuvres, shellfish, sushi, salads and soft cheeses
Château des Demoiselles is a magnificent300-hectare vineyard estate(including 72 hectares of A.O.P Côtes de Provence vineyards), located in the hinterland of the Var, in the Esclans valley.
Aurélie Bertin’s family is the current owner of Château des Demoiselles since 1956. Formely named Saint- Michel d’Esclans In 2005, the family managed to re-acquire the house and its vineyard, which were renamed“Château des Demoiselles” as a homage to the“Demoiselles de Provence”, the last Count of Provence and Toulouse’s daughters who would all become queens. But it also was a tribute to Aurélie Bertin who took over the management of the estate in 2007 and instilled her dynamism, her modern vision of the traditional and genuine job of winemaker, her inclination towards Oenotourism, and last but not least her femininity into the estate.
The estate produces two wine collections. :Château des Demoiselles et Charme des Demoiselles.Expressive, elegant and refined, these vintages seduce every palate.
Just like it’s the case for our otherChâteau Sainte Roseline Cru Classéestate, both wineries have the same quality high-standards, know-how, experienced teams and winemaker.
Aurélie Bertin, is fully aware of her social responsibilities. For years, Château Sainte Roseline and Château des Demoiselles have been involved into a Sustainable Development approach. After being rewarded by theHVE 3 certification(High Environmental Value) in 2019, we’re now aiming to reach theVDD label(Vigneron en Développement Durable –Sustainable Winemaking).
